We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role, you will oversee payroll processes, manage employee records, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to both payroll operations and administrative functions while supporting employees and management.
Job Responsibility:
Process weekly payroll for hourly employees using a designated payroll system
Manage and maintain the electronic timekeeping system to ensure accurate attendance tracking
Update and reconcile attendance records and payroll deductions
Issue manual checks when necessary and generate essential payroll reports
Monitor employee absences to ensure adherence to attendance policies, disability plans, and Family Medical Leave regulations
Track and manage vacation time balances for employees
Handle employment verifications and complete payroll-related forms
Organize and maintain payroll, personnel, and attendance files
Coordinate benefits administration and assist employees with related inquiries
Support managers by preparing administrative reports and ensuring compliance with company policies and laws
Requirements:
Proven experience in payroll processing for organizations with 101-500 employees
Proficiency in using UKG Pro or similar payroll systems
Familiarity with payroll operations for unionized environments
Strong knowledge of benefits administration processes
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Strong communication skills to address employee questions and provide guidance
Understanding of applicable labor laws and compliance regulations
