Job Description:

We are seeking Application Development Lead for P&R team’s Payments Product Processor development team at Citi Dublin. The successful candidate will interact with key stakeholders from product, operations, and development teams with a focus on implementing GPPSP product across countries. This role demands expertise in GPPSP payments product, enterprise systems design, and payments messaging formats such as ISO 8583, ISO 20022, and SWIFT.

Job Responsibility:

providing technical leadership of multiple large scale/complex software solutions
implementing GPPSP product across countries with robust solution for both hardware & software solutions
designing, coding, testing, documenting and implementing application release projects
strong GPPSP SME knowledge to design payment flows & provide solutions
working closely with program management and quality control teams to deliver quality software to agreed project schedules
proactively notifying Development Project Manager of risks, bottlenecks, problems, issues, and concerns
compliance with Citi's System Development Lifecycle and Information Security requirements

Requirements:

5-8 years of relevant experience
experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
experience in managing and implementing successful projects
working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

Nice to have:

experience in building enterprise transaction-based system with focus on recovery, stability, reliability, scalability and performance
experience in working on JMS / MQ applications
strong experience in working with various payments schemes, preferably Faster Payments scheme of any country, and Payments messaging formats such as ISO 8583, ISO 20022, and SWIFT
strong GPPSP SME knowledge to design payment flows & provides solution
proactive problem-solver
demonstrated sense of responsibility and capability to deliver quickly
excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
promotes teamwork and builds strong relationships within and across global teams
promotes continuous process improvement especially in code quality, testability & reliability
