Job Description:

We are looking for a Payments Expert with strong experience in retail payments and/or market infrastructures, able to support the development and evolution of retail payment products and related market initiatives. You will produce high-quality notes, reports, and recommendations for senior management and contribute to analyses and workstreams that may involve business models, scheme rollout, and stakeholder alignment across diverse groups.

Job Responsibility:

  • Draft clear, structured notes/reports/recommendations suitable for senior management (and potentially external stakeholders)
  • Condense complex technical, business, and/or legal topics into decision-ready insights and executive-level messaging
  • Contribute to the development of retail payment products or product management activities (requirements, positioning, stakeholder inputs, documentation)
  • Support analysis and delivery for initiatives such as: Conceptualisation of new business models involving retail payment products
  • Rollout of payment schemes, ideally at multi-country / pan-European scale
  • Facilitate alignment and help reach consensus among diverging stakeholders on complex topics
  • Deliver high-quality outputs within agreed and potentially tight deadlines

Requirements:

  • English level: C1 (CEFR) or higher
  • 7+ years of experience in the retail payments and/or market infrastructures industry
  • 3+ year of experience contributing to the development of retail payment products or product management of retail payment products
  • Proven excellent drafting ability, with emphasis on notes/reports
  • Proven ability to condense complex analyses for (senior) management communication
  • 4+ years drafting reports and recommendations for senior management and/or external stakeholders
  • 4+ years in projects related to new business model conceptualisation, including retail payment products
  • 4+ years related to payment scheme rollout, preferably pan-European
  • Strong track record in building consensus in groups with diverging views (technical/business/legal)
  • Excellent stakeholder communication across all seniority levels
  • Strong analytical skills: identifying problems and proposing target-oriented solutions
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight timelines
  • Availability for travel 25-50% of the time
