Job Description:

Service Stream’s Telecommunications division are currently seeking a Payments Controller to join our team to administer the sub-contractor payments process within the nbn Field Module contract.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure SOIP and RCTI are delivered within commercial parameters and timeframes
  • Liaise with client representatives to ensure all correspondence is coordinated accurately
  • Update and maintain accurate data relating to payments and invoicing
  • Liaise with subcontractors and Service Stream field personnel to ensure payments are submitted correctly and all necessary approvals/documentations are present
  • Provide prompt response and resolution to queries
  • Compile data reports
  • Assist the wider finance team to meet all end of month deadlines including reconciliations

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar position is highly desired
  • Experience in an office environment including, administration, data entry and filing
  • Good understanding of the Telecommunications industry
  • Previously experience in meeting client demands/needs is desired
  • Excellent organisation skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Well developed communications skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels

  • Build adequate controls monitoring, review & test program to evaluate effectiveness of underlying controls with a strong focus on data analytics and system retrievals
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of data & exceptions to identify trends and emerging risks. Work in partnership with stakeholders to drive effective remediation
  • Implement and execute a comprehensive ops control plan, which includes review & monitoring of key risk indicators & high-risk processes
  • Assist with the drive to establish MCA as part of Transformation
  • Ensure partners & stakeholders are aware & of key risk and controls topics, based on corporate standards as they are released/modified
  • Be fully up to date and familiar with relevant Citi Policies and standards
