Job Description:

Prepare and cook food following recipes and standards; Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene policies; Maintain quality and proper food portioning; Collaborate positively within a team; Follow company policies and procedures.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food prep checklists
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked foods
Follow food safety handling policies and procedures
Check kitchen appliances and food temperatures and report issues
Wash and disinfect kitchen area and follow sanitation procedures
Set-up and break-down work station
Monitor the quality of food and portions served
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support team goals
Comply with quality expectations and standards.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Less than 1-year related work experience
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
