Job Description:

Pastoral Teaching Assistant – Student Mentor role in a holistic school in Hounslow, supporting a variety of needs with a focus on behaviourism. The school is incredibly supportive and steeped in a rich community feel, with drives and initiatives to support the local area and a friendly atmosphere within.

Job Responsibility:

Support students with a variety of SEN / SEMH needs
Work alongside psychological and behavioural professionals, learning their craft as you shadow them
Using the knowledge and experience you gained at university, mentor a child and support their development
Alongside professionals, use your experience with the child to make decisions on the care the child receives

Requirements:

1st Class/2:1 in a Social Sciences Degree
Strong Academic Record
Experience working with children/young people
Experience with additional needs is desirable
Strong communication skills
Friendly and bubbly personality

Nice to have:

Experience with additional needs is desirable

What we offer:

Work Monday-Friday, 8:30-15:30 with no weekends!
