Job Responsibility:

  • Interpret customer requirements for spare parts, assuring the part numbers are correct and the orders are then loaded onto the Baan system
  • Analyse and evaluate back order reports and spare part requirements for open orders
  • Maintain good inventory housekeeping
  • Process and co-ordinate purchase and replenishment orders arriving, picking, packing and dispatching daily
  • Maintain appropriate administration and filing systems

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a Parts Department
  • Good understanding of inventory procedures
  • Excellent communication skills with previous experience in communicating with internal and external customers
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel and Word), Parts and Service manuals, Internet) Ordering software
  • Flexibility to work as part of a team and as an individual

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Baan software or equivalent package
