We’re looking for a Partnership Development Lead with proven experience securing high‑value corporate, commercial or strategic partnerships, including six‑ and seven‑figure opportunities. Someone who can demonstrate success in developing and delivering a new business pipeline, with experience in leading pitches, proposals and senior‑level stakeholder engagement. You will seek out opportunities that drive transformational income, influence and awareness for Young Lives vs Cancer. You will play a central role in securing new corporate, commercial and strategic partnerships that enable us to support children, young people and families facing cancer.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the delivery of the new business strategy and budget
Build and drive a strong pipeline of six‑ and seven‑figure partnership opportunities
Manage your own portfolio of prospects and secure high‑value partnerships across multiple sectors
Support and guide the team to cultivate relationships with senior stakeholders and corporate prospects
Work collaboratively across the organisation to develop high‑quality proposals, pitches and vote strategies
Launch new partnerships and support growth opportunities across corporate, philanthropy, events and trusts
Line‑manage and develop up to three direct reports, fostering a high‑performing and motivated team
Requirements:
Proven experience securing high‑value corporate, commercial or strategic partnerships
Strong track record of developing and delivering successful new business pipelines
Excellent relationship‑building and influencing skills, including with senior stakeholders
Experience managing or coaching others to achieve ambitious targets
Ability to develop compelling propositions, pitches and partnership materials
Strong organisational and strategic planning skills, with the ability to work autonomously
Confidence working collaboratively across teams and representing the organisation externally
