Job Description:

Partnership and Engagement Leader in sustainability bridging global partners, scientific insights, and IKEA's sustainability agenda. Strengthens IKEA's leadership by aligning content with expert advice and external perspectives, building partnerships, and supporting impact that develops the business, enhances the IKEA Brand and influences broader change in society.

Job Responsibility:

Lead external engagement for selected sustainability topics
Contribute to development of sustainability topics
Participate in internal cross-functional working groups
Lead relationships with partners including NGOs and business organizations
Coordinate IKEA standpoints
Gather insights
Engage in advocacy efforts
Support planning for global events
Prepare messages and speaking points for IKEA spokespeople
Support development of IKEA sustainability strategy, policies and annual reporting
Support sustainability integration into communication plans

Requirements:

Solid knowledge and interest in at least one sustainability topic area
Experience interacting with stakeholders including NGOs, UN organisations, or policy makers
Familiarity with legal requirements such as reporting initiatives (ESG/CSRD)
Passion for societal and sustainability topics
Experience planning and executing strategic sustainability projects such as engagement activities or sustainability reporting
