As Partner Security and Enablement (PSE) Technical Analyst, you play a vital part in managing and safeguarding Amgen’s data and Business globally. You will implement security measures, conduct security audits, analyse security incidents, and provide recommendations for improvements. Your strong knowledge of security protocols, network infrastructure, risk and vulnerability assessment will contribute to maintaining a secure IT environment. This position ensures the least privilege principle and Amgen City Planning directives are driven across the enterprise. Key responsibilities include providing and implementing secure B2B technical solutions, business process and technical requirements gathering, Amgen’s External Workforce setup and oversight, collaboration with multiple teams at all levels, training sessions, maintaining ongoing support, and participating in custom build and automation innovations.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain progress on assigned consultations, key initiatives and drive project milestones to completion
Act as a liaison between cross-functional business and DTI departments
Independently identify, document and escalate complex, break-fix issues and track to resolution
Develop and maintain detailed documentation for Functional Digital Profiles and solutions
Continuously enhance solutions security and conduct preparedness workshops
Log tickets for required changes and track progress through ServiceNow as also DevOPs and System Development Lifecycle processes
Provide clear documentation for delivered solutions and processes, integrating documentation with the appropriate repositories and informing corporate stakeholders
Implement solutions for external clients based on functional specification and capabilities
Identify and report tech security gaps in solutions, applications, tools, etc.
Interact with CDT departments, applicable other DTI/AI, Privacy and Legal teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and optimised to protect client information down to regional/country level
Perform hands-on technical work and deliver readiness training to external business partners
Monitor team approval queue in ServiceNow as also all team intakes (consultations, distribution lists, etc.)
Maintain knowledge of global and regional Amgen and industry quality and compliance policies, SOPs and associated frameworks
Secure lifecycle oversight of collaborative and data exchange solutions (MS Teams, MOVEit Managed File Transfer (MFT), eShare, etc.)
Demonstrate solutions to Amgen owners and external partners
Participate in audits as required
Maintain accurate audit records and manage access removal efficiently
Coordinate with the rest of the Partner Security and Enablement and/or the Third Party Risk Assessment (TPRA) and/or the AI Council and other applicable teams vendor eligibility, compliance, applicable technical and legal standards
Ensure technical solutions are aligned with and all users adhere to Amgen’s internal controlled documents, GDPR, HIPAA, ISO, NIST, and CIS guidelines
Guide MoveIT Group Administrators, Owners and other applicable roles to complete all required training
Support the Incident response team in 3rd party footprint analysis
Address promptly ServiceNow tickets and participate in Major Incidents Management as applicable
Where necessary, escalate major incidents and issues to functional and org management
Serve as lead or backup analyst for consultation needs
Perform customer IP verification and secure email checks (enforced TLS)
Promptly post B2B technical announcements on the external SharePoint sites about Amgen apps and tools accessible to partners
Implement metrics and dashboards to track tool coverage, policy compliance, and SLA adherence
Monitor systems to ensure optimal performance
Implement and adhere to change management and maintain comprehensive documentation
Manage administrator transitions and coordinate with vendors
Requirements:
Minimum five years’ experience in IT security or managed file transfer administration
Extensive knowledge of secure protocols, networking, storage, and cloud/application architecture
Proven expertise in identity management, regulatory standards, and SOPs
Excellent communication, writing, problem-solving, and customer service skills
Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, international setting
Familiarity with life science/biotech industries, regulated environments and compliance frameworks
Good understanding of AI concepts, tools and automation
Strong grasp of network/cloud infrastructure and identity/access management
Good all-round skills in virtual solutions (Cloud PC, AWS Workspaces, Citrix) and isolation browsers (Island)
Expert knowledge of SFTP/HTTPS/AS2/etc. protocols, Cloud Storage, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, LDAP, Okta, Entra, Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, etc.
Skills in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, etc.
Solid foundation in ITIL and advanced analytical troubleshooting
