My client is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a remote role with flexible hours. The ideal candidate must have experience using Sage accounting software, as it is central to their operations.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain and update financial records using Sage
Prepare and submit VAT returns
Process accounts payable and ensure timely supplier payments
Reconcile bank statements and accurately record all transactions
Manage invoicing and credit control
Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting
Monitor cash flow and support financial forecasting
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
Collaborate with other departments and provide financial insights
Requirements:
Proven experience using Sage (essential)
Experience with other accounting software like Xero or QuickBooks is a plus
Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable processes
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage time and priorities independently
Strong analytical and communication skills
