Job Description:

You are the first connection that our guests have to our hotel and a vital contributor to the success of their experience.

Job Responsibility:

Assist arriving and departing guests with luggage
provide information regarding the property and local area
use the guest's name to make them feel welcome and important
help acclimate guests to the hotel
greet every guest with a smile and a friendly greeting
show guests to their room and assist with their luggage
check luggage for hotel guests both for day and overnight storage
promote the amenities and services of the hotel and be an ambassador for our city
know the neighborhood and be able to provide directions and suggestions for dining and entertainment

Requirements:

High School diploma (or equivalent)
preferably three to six months of related experience
must be a people-person
must be able to interact with all hotel guests and team members in a polite and positive manner at all times
must be able to fulfill requests (even challenging ones) in a timely manner
must be able to move around
must be able to stand/sit, carry/lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend/twist, climb stairs
must be able to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
