Job Description:

Robert Half is partnering with a Fortune 500 in the Greater Seattle Area to identify a Paralegal in the Commercial Real Estate industry who is ready to jump in to assist and possibly join their close-knit team. This position is contract, with potential for extension/conversion into a permanent role.

Job Responsibility:

  • Draft commercial leases from templates and route them for approval and signatures
  • Manage and track lease transactions, support with lease renewals
  • Review, redline, and compare documents, ensuring accurate routing and tracking
  • Take responsibility for lease amendments, extending leases, and exercising notices to renew or terminate a lease
  • Consult on lease reviews and answer related questions, and handle subsequent amendments
  • Utilize Case Management Software, Briefing, Calendar Management, Claim Administration, Communication, Commercial Real Estate, and Corporate Real Estate skills
  • Support in-house counsel and attorneys as part of the team structure

Requirements:

  • 2+ YOE as a paralegal supporting Commercial Real Estate in-house legal teams
  • Knowledge and experience in Commercial Real Estate law, including transactions, leasing, and dispute resolution
  • Reviewing and drafting legal documents and contracts
  • Proficiency in using Case Management Software for tracking and managing legal cases
  • Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear and effective interaction with clients, attorneys, and court personnel
