Job Description:

This is a 24-month programme and after successful completion, you will gain a recognised CILEx qualification and be ready to move into a Paralegal role within the firm. You will have off-the-job time dedicated to your study which will be delivered by an authorised training provider and all course and training fees will be paid by the firm. We have opportunities available within the following departments to commence in September 2026: Recoveries, Grimsby; Real Estate, Grimsby.

Job Responsibility:

  • File creation and client care correspondence
  • Making and receiving telephone calls and dealing with telephone enquiries
  • Attending meetings and taking notes
  • Providing regular updates to clients as to the current situation of their case
  • Drafting documents such as letters, contracts, transfer deeds and leases under supervision
  • Carrying out legal research
  • Preparing completion statements, accounts forms, invoices and understanding client ledgers
  • Assisting with administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, filing tasks and letter writing
  • Processing and recording payments
  • Undertaking preparation of court proceedings and utilising workflows on the case management system, under supervision
  • Attending and participating in departmental meetings

Requirements:

  • 3 A-levels at grade C or above, or equivalent Level 3 qualification
  • 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English at grade 4 or above
