Are you a master of your trade with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high standards? Orchard Care Homes is looking for a Painter & Decorator Team Lead to oversee our decorating team and ensure our homes remain welcoming, safe, and beautifully maintained. As Painter & Decorator Team Lead, you will be the main point of contact for all decorating queries and lead our decorating team to maintain high standards across our homes. You will manage planned works programmes, ensure compliance with safety standards, and create a homely environment for residents.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading and supervising the painting & decorating team across multiple homes
  • Acting as project lead for planned works programmes, ensuring timely completion
  • Assisting with scopes of work and resource planning
  • Maintaining compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, and Care Standards legislation
  • Developing and supporting your team through training and appraisals
  • Liaising with Home Managers and external contractors to ensure quality outcomes

Requirements:

  • Master of trade with strong leadership and supervisory experience
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • IT literate – confident using MS Office and online FM platforms
  • Clean driving licence and flexibility to travel, including overnight stays
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
  • Professional, approachable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
