Job Description:

The Packaging Specialist I is an entry level position in our quality-driven, craft concentrate Packaging facility. This person will be involved in many aspects of the packaging of products as they move through the final stages in our lab. This person will be required to focus on quality product, time management and efficiency. The ability to remain focused on packaging goals and communicate with team members and supervisor(s) is critical.

Job Responsibility:

  • Adhere to all safety guidelines of packaging and handling of materials in the lab
  • Prepare containers for product
  • Measure or weigh products in all forms into gram increments
  • Maintain consistent quality control standards
  • Weigh and package all items into appropriate containers
  • Use all equipment to complete tasks according to standard operating procedures
  • Affix all required labels according to requirements for each product
  • Assist with labeling of outgoing orders
  • Maintaining clean work space
  • Maintain condition of all lab equipment – clean, orderly and in good condition
  • Track and recording daily packaging data
  • Assist in the delivery process as requested
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Must be over 21 years of age
  • Must have and maintain MED Badge
  • Must have reliable form of transportation
  • Able to work in a fast-paced work environment under deadlines

  • Provide Quality direction and oversight of the development of new and existing processes in the packaging area to meet customer needs
