The Packaging Operator I is responsible for carrying out daily tasks in the packaging area, including both direct and indirect activities, while following written and verbal work instructions. The role involves preparing, packaging, labeling, inspecting, and documenting medical device kits and related materials in accordance with quality and safety standards.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and package medical device kits, including labeling, inspecting, and ensuring compliance with quality standards
Accurately mix formulations by measuring and combining chemicals with water solutions
Operate basic machinery and handle product movement using carts and pallets
Maintain clean packaging stations and processing equipment, following PPE and contamination control protocols
Complete and maintain accurate documentation such as batch records, inventory counts, and device history records
Perform quality inspections on in-process and finished products to identify and remove defects
Support inventory counts and participate in safety audits and discussions
Handle hazardous waste in compliance with safety procedures
Requirements:
Minimum of 6 months of industry work experience
High school diploma or GED
Willingness and ability to work flexible schedules, including static or rotating shifts and overtime as required
