As an IT Operations Technician, you will be the first line of defense in our IT operations team, responsible for monitoring and reacting to alerts to ensure the stability and performance of our internal and customer’s IT infrastructure. Together with other tech teams in Denmark and Philippines, we take care of the customer-facing functions as well as the primary server operations. We are the customers' primary point of contact for the system's operations. We focus on high service and stable operation, and we ensure this by proactive monitoring of customers' systems.
Job Responsibility:
Actively monitor IT systems, networks, and applications using established monitoring tools
Respond promptly to monitoring alerts, ensuring issues are identified and addressed in a timely manner
Resolve technical issues from start to finish, supported by our large knowledge bank within the team
Escalate incidents to second-level support or other appropriate teams when necessary
Maintain clear and accurate communication with team members and customers during incident resolution
Log all actions taken during incident management in a detailed and accurate manner
Work on a rotational shift basis, including nights, weekends, and public holidays to ensure 24/7 coverage
Requirements:
Previous experience in an IT support, service desk or operations role is preferred
Understanding of IT systems, networks, and applications
Familiarity with monitoring tools is a plus
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
Willingness to work non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
Knowledge of Windows Server administration
Understanding of how to uncover a problem so that troubleshooting and possible escalation is done optimally
Fluency in written and spoken English
Understanding of Networking, IIS, DHCP, Backups, Certificate infrastructure is an advantage
