Precise is recruiting an Operations/Practice Manager for a cardiology investigation Hospital in Jamaica. The role involves overseeing daily operations, managing resources, leading teams, developing marketing strategies, coordinating patient care, managing finances, and ensuring quality improvement.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the daily operations of the services
Ensure efficient patient flow and appointment scheduling
Implement and maintain the hospital’s policies, procedures, and standards
Manage client’s resources, including staffing, equipment, and supplies
Oversee and support the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and feedback
Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment
Develop marketing strategies to promote the hospital and its services in comprehensive cardiac care services within the community
Collaborate with the hospital’s marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns
Develop and implement strategies to integrate different types of services
Ensure continuity of care for patients by coordinating with various clinicians and specialists
Monitor patient satisfaction and address any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
Prepare and manage budget
Monitor financial performance and implement cost-effective measures
Oversee billing, coding, and reimbursement processes to maximize revenue
Monitor and evaluate the quality of care
Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service efficiency
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
Requirements:
Proficiency in English is non-negotiable
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in practice administration or healthcare management
Experience working in high-income country settings is an advantage
Ideally, familiarity with the Caribbean context
Proven experience managing a diverse team and working with an international patient base
Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue cycle management
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality assurance standards
Proficiency in healthcare management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
