As an Operations Coordinator you will effectively coordinate the traincrew and yard operations, ensuring cost effective deployment of resources while maintaining a high level of customer service. Please note that this is a shiftwork position and will see you working 4 days on 4 days off, 12hrs, day & night shift!
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate daily traincrew and yard operations
Ensure cost-effective use of resources and timely delivery
Be an integral part of the Picton Leadership Team
Oversee the movement of rolling stock and execution of the yard plan
Direct and manage allocation and utilisation of resources
Develop and improve systems to enhance supply chain performance
Lead and coach your team with clear goals and continuous improvement focus
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Train Driving and/or Shunt qualifications (preferred – training provided)
Cert IV/Diploma in Frontline Management or equivalent (preferred)
