The Operational Risk Senior Officer is a strategic professional who establishes and oversees enterprise-wide adherence to the Issue Management Policy and Standard. This role involves independent risk assessment, contributing to 2nd Line of Defence coverage strategy, and serving as a subject matter expert for Issue Management within Citi's risk management framework.
Job Responsibility:
Establish and oversee enterprise-wide adherence to the Issue Management Policy and Standard
Independently assess risks to the Issue Management program
Contribute to the development and execution of the 2nd Line of Defence coverage strategy
Obtain evidence supporting independent assessment of Program effectiveness
Serve as a subject matter expert for Issue Management
Contribute to integration of oversight of Issue Management Program with Lessons Learned Program
Collaborate to resolve issues within team's scope
Escalate material concerns to leadership
Develop and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across all Lines of Defence
Requirements:
An understanding of the Issue Management Lifecycle and its relationship with the Risk Management Lifecycle
Proven track record of successfully performing reviews (audits, 2nd Line of Defence reviews, special projects)
Experience interpreting and drafting edits to Policies and Standards
Outstanding communication and influencing skills through all levels of the organization
Exceptional relationship management skills
Ability to effectively communicate complex topics to a broad audience
Detailed oriented with analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools
Bachelor's/University degree
