Being an Engineer at Baxter means you play a critical role in helping us achieve our mission to save and sustain lives. You will coordinate the development of operational excellence at the plant level and will work with leaders from various areas to ensure continuous improvement and optimise facilities, services, and production processes.
Job Responsibility:
Support successfully the establishment of indicators for key process projects
Provide mentoring and training to the plant’s Black Belts and Green Belts
Participate in the ongoing development of strategies that contribute to improving quality and productivity within the plant
Develop effective standardised cost‑saving strategies based on Lean tools and techniques to achieve savings targets, perform regular follow‑up, and participate in global cost‑reduction initiatives and projects
Manage and oversee the budget for assigned projects
Collaborate with plant leaders to organise the support needed to achieve operational excellence (communications, rewards, etc.)
Requirements:
A degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field
Proven experience in process improvement and operations management in automated industrial manufacturing environments
Solid understanding of LEAN Manufacturing principles
Black Belt certification is highly valued
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and to lead or co‑lead projects
Strong communication skills in Spanish and English
Strong analytical thinking and leadership skills
