Job Responsibility:

  • Work collaboratively with a diverse team of experts to support clients to design strategies, operating structures and solutions that address their most pressing challenges
  • Deliver projects that require a wide range of skills, from strategic design
  • through business analysis and organisational design
  • to programme definition and design coherence
  • Work in blended teams, partnering with specialists from across the breadth of PA
  • Apply a design thinking mindset, tools and approaches to help resolve a range of complex and societally meaningful client challenges
  • Collaborate with leading transport and energy & utility client organisations who are driving major capital and infrastructure programmes, as well as those focused on optimising asset management and operational performance
  • Engage and present to clients, communicating recommendations and insights from operational to C-suite level

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience
  • Experience helping organisations & leadership teams shape business strategy and design organisational and collaborative structures
  • Experience analysing what an organisation’s customers/users/citizens value
  • Understanding how technology can help make an organisation more effective
  • Experience analysing and solving problems using a data-driven and human-centred approach
  • Experience delivering within or for transport and / or energy & utility sector organisations

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with large capital / infrastructure programmes and asset management organisations
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., Ofgem, Ofwat, CAA, ORR)
  • Awareness of industry trends such as energy transition, decarbonisation and smart mobility
  • Being conversant in both business and technology architecture concepts
  • Being familiar with enterprise operating model concepts
  • Skilled in creating planning, performance, and governance frameworks for complex programmes
  • Experience of defining one or more of the following – customer-centric principles into op models, IT op models, procurement and commercial frameworks, op models for capital programmes (e.g. governance and engineering processes)
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative way with clients and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Confident working independently as the day-to-day client point of contact
