Job Description:

Locum Oncology Pharmacist role in an NHS hospital in Norfolk. 6-month contract with potential extension. Join the team to play a key role in supporting patients undergoing cancer treatment.

Job Responsibility:

Perform comprehensive medication reviews and patient assessments
Support safe and effective use of chemotherapy and related medicines
Deliver evidence-based pharmaceutical care to optimise oncology patient outcomes
Collaborate with oncology consultants, nurses, and wider MDTs
Ensure safe handling and dispensing of chemotherapy drugs
Maintain accurate clinical and patient records

Requirements:

Current and valid GPhC registration
Prior experience working in an NHS hospital oncology/haematology pharmacy
Strong clinical knowledge of chemotherapy protocols
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
