Job Responsibility:
Perform ECA and crack propagation studies
Conduct FFS fracture mechanics analyses per BS 7910
Apply offshore design codes (DNV, API, ISO)
Carry out structural analysis using SACS and Staad.Pro
Perform fracture mechanics simulations using Crackwise
Support engineering and drafting teams
Coordinate with international engineering groups
Produce calculation notes and drawings
Follow engineering procedures and quality requirements
Requirements:
10+ years as a structural engineer on offshore topside EPC projects
2+ years in fatigue and fracture mechanics for offshore structures or pipelines
Experience working with international engineering centres
Knowledge of offshore modular structural design
Proficiency in SACS, Staad.Pro, and Crackwise
Understanding of welded assemblies and common NDT methods
