Job Description:

The Officer-Loss Prevention role involves ensuring the safety and security of The Westin Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta by conducting property patrols, assisting guests, monitoring safety systems, investigating incidents, and maintaining operational safety standards. The position emphasizes professionalism, attention to detail, and collaboration.

Job Responsibility:

Patrol all areas of the property
Assist guests with room access
Monitor CCTV, alarms, and fire life safety systems
Conduct daily physical hazard inspections
Respond to accidents and emergencies
Complete incident and shift reports
Resolve safety hazard situations
Escort unwelcome persons from the property
Conduct investigations and gather evidence
Conduct interviews with relevant parties
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period
Ability to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and above 75 pounds with assistance
Ability to move through narrow, sloping, or uneven surfaces
Ability to respond to work situations at required speed
Completion of safety training and certifications
Proficiency in preparing and reviewing written documents accurately
Clear and professional verbal communication
Ability to work with others to achieve common goals
Compliance with quality assurance standards and company policies.
