This is not your average Office Manager position. It's a strategic, operational, people-focused, and hands-on leadership role that touches nearly every part of the business - from warehouse workflow to HR, from systems to sales support, and from compliance to coffee machine maintenance (yes, really).
Job Responsibility:
Overseeing the smooth running of both office and warehouse operations
Managing and supporting teams across admin, sales support, and logistics
Coordinating workflows, rotas, and holiday cover
Leading on HR tasks such as recruitment, onboarding, and training
Driving process improvements and implementing operational policies
Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and other regulatory requirements
Managing facilities, equipment, and supplier relationships
Supporting financial processes including expenses and budget prep
Acting as the first point of contact for IT, systems, and website issues
Assisting with marketing activities and internal communications
Providing ad-hoc support to senior leadership and covering key roles during absence
Requirements:
Experience in an office management, operations, or team leadership role
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Excellent communication and people management abilities
Confidence with systems and software (Microsoft Office is essential
Sage is a bonus)
A calm, approachable manner and a genuine passion for improving how things work
