We are looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Office Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Towson, Maryland. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting administrative operations by handling document scanning, organizing files, and assisting with front desk tasks.
Job Responsibility:
Organize and scan paper documents to ensure digital records are accurate and accessible
Perform light administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, and data entry
Manage the front desk by greeting visitors and answering inbound calls as required
Assist with clerical duties to support daily office operations
Ensure proper sorting and categorization of documents during scanning
Respond to inquiries and provide information to callers and visitors in a courteous manner
Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient and organized workspace
Troubleshoot basic office equipment issues, such as scanners or printers, to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
Proven experience in administrative or clerical roles, preferably within a detail-oriented services environment
Proficiency in handling document scanning and digital file management
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
Familiarity with receptionist or front desk duties
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Competence in using office equipment such as scanners and printers
Basic computer skills, including knowledge of common software applications like Microsoft Office
