Job Description:

Do you want to play a key role in automating and optimizing Radio Access Networks (RAN) using the latest Open Network Automation Platform (ONAP) technologies, including Modular Approach to Cloud Native ONAP, self-optimizing 5G RAN functionalities, and End-to-End Network Slicing?

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and implement rApps, xApps, SMO solutions for RAN automation and optimization, with a focus ONAP Integration and development
  • Analyze RAN requirements and translate them into SMO use cases and RIC blueprints, incorporating features like 5G Network Slicing definitions and Smart Operator Intent Translation in the UUI based on IBN – R8 5G Slicing Support
  • Work with RAN vendors and system integrators to ensure seamless integration with the developed SMO
  • Develop and maintain test cases for RAN functionality using SMO
  • Troubleshoot and resolve RAN-related issues within the SMO platform
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in ONAP and RAN technologies
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members on RAN, SMO, RIC and ONAP integration

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in ONAP development and integration
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in 5G and O-RAN technologies
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing RAN automation and SON solutions
  • In-depth understanding of ONAP architecture, use cases, and blueprints
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical and technical writing skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with Python, Golang and YANG models is a plus
  • Experience with AI-first development is an advantage
