Job Description:

As our Nurse Manager Perioperative Services at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, you’ll oversee upwards of 100 surgical services staff and act as the conduit between these caregivers and leadership teams. You will communicate the organization’s goals to the staff as we constantly seek to improve patient experience and outcomes. At the same time, you will advocate for your team by bringing any issues, requests, or new ideas from them to leadership. You will manage our Perioperative Services departments, which consist of the OR, Pre-Admission Testing, Short Stay Unit, PACU, and GI Lab. We have 12 operating rooms, and on average we perform 480 surgeries per month. Our surgical specialties include; ortho, neuro, spine, general, urology, GYN, and robotics.

Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent education and experience required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience required
  • Minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience required
  • Registered Nursing License (RN) in CA required
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) required
