We are looking for NOC L2 Engineer who will be responsible for day-to-day network operations during their shift and ensure the maintenance of highly available network architectures.
Job Responsibility:
Proactively monitor the network infrastructure, identifying and resolving network issues in real time
Troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including routers, switches, and transport protocols
Create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems
Implement, administer, and maintain LAN and wide area network WAN systems
Configure and troubleshoot Layer 3 and Layer 2 networks with knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, STATIC, MPLS
Manage switch configurations, including VTP, Access, Trunk settings
Provide detailed technical input for hardware and software selection processes
Work closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve network issues efficiently and maintain high availability
Responsible for day-to-day network operations during their shift and ensure the maintenance of highly available network architectures
Requirements:
B.Tech in Telecommunication or any other related field
Minimum 4 years of experience in NOC role
Experience in Telecom/ISP experience is mandatory
Strong organizational skills
Should have experience in team handling role
Strong understanding of network infrastructure, hardware, and protocols
Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices
Solid experience in routing protocols such as OSPF/BGP/MPLS and L2 switching configurations
Working experience with Huawei/Nokia/Mikrotik/Optilink Switch
Basic knowledge of EPON/GPON
Good knowledge of L-3/L-2 Network
Configuration knowledge of Switch (VTP, ACCESS, TRUNK)
Knowledge of application transport protocols and network communication systems
Experience with local area network and wide area network administration. ISP preferable
Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills
Flexibility for 24x7 shift work, including night shifts
