Job Description:

IKEA Exeter are looking to welcome a Night Warehouse Operative to join our hard-working Fulfilment team. Contract of 30 hours a week, with earliest shift times at midnight (12:00am) at night and latest finishing times at 10:00am in the morning. This role will also involve weekend work, ordinarily 3 in 4 weekends.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure products are available to customers by ensuring tasks in your area are completed accurately and in a timely manner
Operate and work around other heavy machinery, such as other forklift trucks, counterbalance, and pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure environment for both customers and co-workers
Replenishment of the store, operating the forklift should you wish to and there is a business need to allow for this, to make sure all the shelves are full and ready for our customers
Responsible for loading and unloading of the deliveries

Requirements:

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organise workload efficiently, with a keen attention to detail
Proven experience in using technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency
Self-reliant and motivated, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
An eagerness to get stuck in, learn on the job and work together in a team environment
