Job Description:
The Night Auditor is responsible for checking figures, postings, and documents for accuracy, recording, storing, accessing, and/or analyzing computerized financial information, and controlling and securing cash and cash equivalents for property according to cash handling policy and procedures. The role also involves organizing, securing, and maintaining all files and records, preparing and distributing statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables, and auditing and reconciling all revenue postings. The Night Auditor must follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises, and ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. The role requires welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing guests’ service needs, and assisting individuals with disabilities. The Night Auditor must speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. The role involves developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others, supporting team to reach common goals, and complying with quality assurance expectations and standards. The Night Auditor must also move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance and perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
