Night Auditor - Receptionist position at Fairfield by Marriott San Jose Airport Alajuela, responsible for end-of-day accounting activities, guest check-ins, telephone operations, and maintaining positive guest experiences while ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Complete end-of-day activities including posting charges to accounts
  • Run night audit backup and roll the date
  • Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit
  • Process adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges
  • Print contingency lists for emergency records
  • Sell rooms to guests without reservations
  • Operate telephone switchboard station
  • Process wake-up calls and advise guests of messages
  • Complete Room Rate Variance Report
  • Process guest check-ins and assign rooms
  • Activate or reissue room keys using electronic key machine
  • Count bank at end of shift and secure bank
  • Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
  • Inspect cleanliness and presentation of all materials prior to use

Requirements:
