As a New Business Sales Development Representative, you will be integral to identifying and securing new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, and managing key client relationships. You will work alongside a senior sales team, using your communication and strategic sales skills to build a robust pipeline of leads, close new business, and ensure client satisfaction. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute targeted lead generation across various channels (e.g., email, phone, LinkedIn, Engage)
Conduct research and identify potential clients within specific industries and target markets
Provide qualified leads and schedule initial meetings for sales representatives
Observe seller for personal development and to stay informed on product/service offerings and industry trends
Leverage CRM systems to track and manage lead information, activities, and progress
Requirements:
1+ years of experience in new business sales or lead generation within the marketing and public relations industry (preferred)
At least 1 year of experience in inside sales, business development, or lead generation roles
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, ZoomInfo)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-starter comfortable in a startup environment with strong execution skills
Adaptable problem-solver with a flexible approach to goals
Organized and detail-oriented
Ambitious, driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong work ethic and results-oriented approach
Nice to have:
