Job Description:

This position involves working within Hewlett Packard Enterprise's innovative IT operations division, delivering advanced network security services such as firewall administration, load balancer troubleshooting, VPN management, and IT security policy implementation in a hybrid work environment. Candidates are expected to possess expertise in multivendor network devices and demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Job Responsibility:

Day-to-day administration of network firewalls, Routers, Switches, Load balancers (LLB+SLB), and proxy systems
Ensure all Business-Critical Systems are monitored and escalate issues
Troubleshoot Site-to-Site VPN, Proxy-related issues & End-user remote access VPN issues
Document Pre & Post implementation logs
Work on assigned tickets within agreed Timeline/SLA
Upskill current technical knowledge through learning and certifications
Involve in change management processes for hardware replacement, config changes, etc.
Provide detailed Root cause summaries for Problem tickets.

Requirements:

BSc / BCA / BE / MCA / MSc or equivalent
Min 5 years of industry experience as a Network Security engineer on Design, Implementation, and troubleshooting multivendor network devices
Network Security (multi-vendor) experience - Cloud security (Native security controls in AWS / Azure / GCP) & security tool implementation in cloud platform will be an added advantage
Troubleshoot and fix high priority issues related to Firewalls, Load balancers, IPS/IDS, Proxy, Switching, Routing
Knowledge and experience in Incident, Change, Problem, Service request and Configuration Management Processes
Good understanding of enterprise-level Security-based infrastructure systems planning, operations, and maintenance
Good knowledge on Load Balancers monitoring, firmware upgrade, SSL offloading
Strong communication skills (written, verbal), problem-solving skills
Experience with Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Load balancers (LLB+SLB), Proxy systems, VPNs, Content Filtering, UTM, SIEM/SIM products, EDR products, and AAA services.

Nice to have:

ITIL certification
Certifications such as Checkpoint Certified Security Administrator/Expert, Fortinet NSE certified, Palo Alto Networks Cybersecurity Professional Certified, Juniper JNCIA/JNCIA-SEC, Cisco CCNP/CCIE, HPE certifications
