Job Description:

This role involves managing and troubleshooting network security infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, VPNs, and related systems. The position requires strong technical expertise across various security areas and ensures adherence to ITIL processes with a focus on maintaining a secure global infrastructure.

Job Responsibility:

  • Day-to-day administration of network firewalls, Routers, Switches, Load balancers, and proxy systems
  • Ensure all Business-Critical Systems are monitored and managed according to priority
  • Handle escalation calls and resolve issues
  • Work with HW Vendors/TAC for SW/HW related issues
  • Involve in change management process for HW replacement/ IOS upgrade/ Config change
  • Monitor ticket queue and maintain regular updates
  • Document pre & post-implementation logs & script for change
  • Design and update network diagrams.

Requirements:

  • Min 5 years of industry experience as a Network Security engineer on Design, Implementation and troubleshooting multivendor network devices
  • Knowledge and experience in Incident, Change, Problem, Service request and Configuration Management Processes
  • Good understanding on Firewall and experience in handling security concepts using CMD line and CSM/GUI/Smart console
  • Good knowledge on Load Balancers monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Troubleshoot Site to Site VPN and Proxy related issues
  • Working on the assigned tickets within the agreed Timeline/SLA
  • Upskilling current technical knowledge by learning new Technologies on the job and obtaining relevant technical certifications
  • Strong communication skills
  • Client service-oriented and solution-oriented
  • Able to communicate fluently in English
  • BSc / BCA / BE / MCA / MSc or equivalent.
