We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Network Operations Center (NOC) Specialist to join our team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, respond to alerts, and implement solutions that enhance our network operations. Job Responsibility:
Process and consult monitoring system alarms with adherence to process/KPIs/SLAs
Support resolution of user or system generated incident tickets, collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve various issues
Investigate alerts (SNMP, Syslog, NetFlow), classify impact, and execute Tier-1/2 remediation playbooks within SLA
Own and support P1/P2 bridges, coordinate with global teams, and drive issues to RCA using ITIL best practices
Log detailed tickets, craft post-mortems, and recommend permanent fixes or automation
Work with Service Providers, ensuring they meet their contractual commitments and work with them on Continuous Improvement
Review and implement scheduled changes (IOS XE, ArubaOS, AOS-CX)
Implement user requests for configuration changes in relation to ACLs/FWs/PBRs
Preparation of necessary activities and creation of change requests, presenting activities in various Change Advisory Boards, when required
Maintain comprehensive records of issues, resolutions, processes, and best practices
Mentor peers across time-zones, and champion best-practice security.
Requirements:
Strong basic network knowledge (CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge level)
Experience in LAN/WLAN/WAN/MAN technologies in Cisco and Aruba vendor space
Hands-on troubleshooting experience in networking
Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users (at least English B2)
Need to be a good team player and able to collaborate at all levels
Ability to identify problems, take ownership, and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal supervision
Experience of Working to ITIL/Agile Standards/Framework.
Nice to have:
Experience in Cisco SDA technology (SD-WAN, ACI)
Experience in monitoring tools like Zabbix and Grafana
Relevant certifications Cisco and Aruba.
