Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer for a 6-month contract opportunity with one of our clients. This role requires on-site presence four days per week and involves supporting and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure, virtualization environments, and security systems.

Job Responsibility:

Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure using HP and Cisco technologies (routing/switching)
Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware or Proxmox
Administer backup and recovery operations using Veeam
Configure and support next-generation firewalls (SonicWall preferred)
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and system changes

Requirements:

Hands-on experience with VMware or other virtualization platforms (e.g., Proxmox)
Proficiency with Veeam for backup and recovery
Experience with next-gen firewalls
SonicWall preferred
Strong knowledge of HP and Cisco networking (routing/switching)
Excellent documentation and organizational skills
