Network Engineer Sr.

• Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, QoS)
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades
• Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
• Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
• Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
• Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science
• Knowledge of web services, API, and IP-based protocols
• Knowledge of computer hardware and networking systems
• Good time management skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues
• 1 to 2 year’s experience required in switching and routing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to think critically
• CCNA required
• knowledge and practical understanding of Networking concepts OSI, TCP and DNS, DHCP, IP, ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP, FTP, TFTP. Syslog and syslog servers
• Knowledge on network capture / analysis tools like Wireshark
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required due to the dynamic nature of collaborations with our teams, leaders, customers, stakeholders, vendors, and other teams, solving complex business problems together
