Job Description:

The ideal candidate for this position would have experience in small to enterprise environments and over at least 5 years of hands-on experience. This will be a temporary to full time opportunity that will onboard with a hybrid work model.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage layer 2/3 devices on the OSI
  • support and troubleshoot Palo Alto and Cisco ASA Firewall and Remote Access VPN platforms
  • liaise with vendor support to manage maintenance planning and implementation (reactive and proactive) to minimize service disruption for Network Services
  • deliver Network infrastructure development / build activities (managed by Project Managers), including release and deployment management for new services
  • create and maintain operational and procedural documentation and escalation processes to ensure adherence to Network SLAs

Requirements:

  • Experience in small to enterprise environments
  • over at least 5 years of hands-on experience
  • considerable technical knowledge and experience of managing and troubleshooting Palo Alto Firewalls (V8x and v9x), including code upgrades
  • considerable technical knowledge and experience of managing and troubleshooting Palo Alto Global Protect VPNs, including MFA authentication
  • experience of managing and troubleshooting Cisco Catalyst Switches, Cisco ISR routers
  • strong knowledge of Cisco Nexus switching technologies like VDC, VPC and FEX
  • strong knowledge of core switching designs such as VLAN, RSTP, HSRP, LACP and 802.1Q
  • experience with supporting and troubleshooting Cisco Meraki MX security appliances
  • experience of managing and troubleshooting Azure Cloud Networking solutions
  • experience of managing and troubleshooting VPN/IPSEC networks, including Remote Access VPNS and Site-to-Site VPNs
  • experience of managing and troubleshooting networking technology including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLAN, Proxy, RADIUS, OSI Model
  • experience of managing and troubleshooting networking protocols (IPSEC, BGP, OSPF, HSRP, 802.11, QoS)
  • experienced of working with dispersed teams across geographically and culturally diverse
