Job Responsibility:

Administer and maintain Fortinet networking and security products, including firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, and security solutions such as FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer
Ensure the security and compliance of the network environment through Fortinet features like threat detection, intrusion prevention, and secure access service edge (SASE)
Manage Fortinet licenses, subscriptions, and updates, including patching, hardening, and optimization of systems
Provide secondary support for HP Enterprise Aruba and Cisco networking technologies, including configuration, troubleshooting, and integration with Fortinet environments
Provide technical L2 and L3 support to end-users for network-related issues, troubleshooting, and resolving problems promptly
Assist application teams with IT-related queries related to networking and security
Develop and maintain user guides and documentation processes and procedures related to Fortinet, HP Aruba, Cisco, and overall network systems
Provide L2 and L3 support for IT infrastructure, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues in network environments
Manage local IT site services, including network connectivity, hardware setup, and software installation
Monitor IT systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability
Perform regular maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and backups
Collaborate with IT teams to implement IT projects and initiatives, including participation in on-call duties
Communicate effectively with end-users and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues
Contribute to IT architecture design, including developing enterprise network architecture frameworks that align with business goals
Identify emerging technologies and trends in networking and security to drive innovation and efficiency
Support integration efforts for network solutions, proposing harmonization and optimization strategies

Requirements:

3 - 5 years of experience in network administration, with a primary focus on Fortinet products and secondary experience in HP Enterprise Aruba and Cisco technologies
Strong technical skills in Fortinet administration, including firewalls, security solutions, and network management tools
Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, with some exposure to IT architecture principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with other IT members and teams as well as end-users
Relevant certifications such as Fortinet NSE (Network Security Expert) levels 4-7, CCNA/CCNP (Cisco), HPE Aruba Certified, or equivalent are highly desirable
