Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's network infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and security of our data and voice networks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless technologies.

Job Responsibility:

Configure, manage, and support LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and reliability
Manage and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, and other networking equipment (Cisco, Fortinet, etc.)
Perform network security updates, patching, and firmware upgrades
Work with vendors and ISPs for network provisioning and escalated support
Support VoIP systems and IP-based communication tools
Maintain documentation of network configurations, topology, and inventory
Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support to internal teams
Participate in disaster recovery planning and network backup procedures

Requirements:

3+ years of experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, VLANs, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, or similar network hardware
Familiarity with firewall configuration, network segmentation, and intrusion detection/prevention
Proficient in network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Nice to have:

Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Network+, Fortinet NSE, or CCNP
Experience supporting cloud networks (Azure, AWS, etc.)
Knowledge of network automation tools or scripting (PowerShell, Python)
