As our UK Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our market presence across the UK. You will be a vital link between our marketing, specification, technical and product management teams ensuring that the communication between all departments is smooth and coordinated. This is a new role, essential to aid our continuing growth within the UK. Working alongside Project Sales Managers and a technical team, you will be covering the UK meeting with architects, specifiers, consultants and decision makers to increase sales.
Job Responsibility:
Identifying and following up on new business opportunities within the UK flat roofing sector targeting key industry players, contractors and specifiers
Reporting to the Director and being involved in all stages of the sales process with an 80/20 split between new business development and account management
Working closely with internal teams providing insight into the flat roofing market to assist in New Product Development
Customer engagement and relationship management
providing excellent customer service and post-sales support
Reporting on sales performance, competitor activity and industry trends
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience in developing new business, sales or account management within the construction, building materials or roofing industries
A strong understanding of the UK roofing market including market trends and technical aspects
A UK driving licence and willingness / flexibility to travel
The experience of working with cross functional teams
The ability and drive to identify and target new business opportunities
