The National Accounts Account Executive will be responsible for managing to retain and grow our existing customer relationships, all with the goal of achieving customer satisfaction, revenue, membership, and earnings objectives. As an Account Executive you will build and maintain strong external and internal relationships as a key part of the team that is responsible for the ongoing serving and day to day administration of marquee clients within the National Account segment.
Job Responsibility:
Manage to retain and grow existing customer relationships
Build and maintain strong external and internal relationships
Execute tactical components of the account team's business plan for each customer
Manage daily service Plan Sponsor/Producer concerns
Execute on objectives aligned to customer and organizational goals
Attend in-person client meetings including Open Enrollment sessions and annual review discussions
Offer creative product and service solutions to address client's evolving needs
Monitor client's product lines and services
Support development and execution of annual business plan and account strategy
Consult with internal and external stakeholders to develop innovative ways to retain business
Collaborate with account team members and functional support areas on complex product or service issues
Collaborate cross-functionally to identify, implement, and monitor customer's service efficiencies
Collaborate with team members on case installation
Service delivery on the customer relationship
Coordinate service work/resolution of service issues
Provide support on opportunities for new products and services
Requirements:
5+ years Client relationship experience supporting the Healthcare Industry
Previous Account Management experience with a Health plan carrier
Must be able to attend onsite client and in office meetings
Industry knowledge of employee benefits and/or health insurance
Monitoring and report management experience
Client-facing / presentation experience
Active Health & Life Insurance license or must obtain within 90 days of hire
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Able to travel up to 20% of time
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Nice to have:
Proficiency in Salesforce
Experience handling multiple projects within the Aetna suite of service (Dental, Vision)
Experience supporting large and complex National Accounts
