Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in the monitoring and administration of enterprise NAS storage systems
  • Provide support for NFS and SMB storage systems, including integration with Windows Active Directory and DFS
  • Work with storage platforms such as NetApp, DELL Powerscale (Isilon), and Hitachi VSP
  • Support SAN disk provisioning and participate in capacity management
  • Write and maintain scripts using Shell, Python, and Ansible to automate routine tasks
  • Help resolve storage incidents and contribute to the stability of NAS infrastructure
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and support teams to meet operational and business needs
  • Document technical procedures and contribute to the team’s knowledge base

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in NAS storage administration (around 3–5 years)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
  • Good knowledge of NAS platforms: NetApp, DELL Isilon, Hitachi VSP
  • Hands-on experience with SMB shares, DFS, and Windows Active Directory
  • Understanding of NFS, iSCSI, and NVMe storage protocols
  • Scripting abilities in Shell, Python, or Ansible
  • Ability to assist in diagnosing and resolving storage-related issues
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluent in English (B2–C1 level)

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of IBM GPFS
  • Familiarity with IBM Power Systems (AIX, Linux on Power)
  • Experience with VMware and virtualized environments
  • Understanding of ITIL processes for incident and change management
