Job Description:

As a Multi Utility Project Manager, you'll take ownership of multiple utility contracts across the North East. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the successful and safe delivery of connections for gas, water, and electricity, on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing a portfolio of schemes within a defined region
  • Coordinating plant orders, road opening notices, and traffic management
  • Overseeing site teams and subcontractors to deliver works safely and efficiently
  • Carrying out quality and team audits to ensure compliance and standards
  • Liaising with utility providers (gas, water, electric) to schedule connections
  • Supporting resolution of NCRs, incidents, and site issues in a timely manner
  • Managing people and performance in line with company policy

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • NRSWA Streetworks Supervisor
  • CSCS Card
  • IT literate (MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • Experience in Multi-Utility Project Management
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage both HSQE and commercial aspects of site work
  • Confident in liaising with engineers, site teams, and subcontractors
  • Able to work under pressure and to deadlines

Nice to have:

  • Gas/Water NCO 2 (desirable)
  • IOSH Managing Safely (desirable)
  • Management qualification (desirable)
