Job Description:

We are searching for a Band 6/7 MRI Radiographer to join an esteemed NHS hospital at a rate of £26-30 per hour. Working hours are 9am-5pm w/ 30-minute break (37.5 working hours per week over 5 days). The post holder will be expected to include safe operation of MRI equipment and ensure an excellent MRI service is delivered throughout the department.

  • Lead and co-ordinate the site’s MRI and imaging quality assurance programmes to ensure safe and high-quality patient care
  • Review and analyse imaging quality, safety, and governance data, using Welbeck systems to identify trends, and deliver improvement actions
  • Produce high-quality governance and performance reports for the Imaging Governance Committee and other relevant committees
  • Support the department in achieving and maintaining accreditation and regulatory compliance, including adherence to MR safety standards and Local Rules
  • Manage patient complaints and incidents related to imaging, ensuring that all are investigated and appropriately closed with a focus on learning and resolution
  • Drive innovation by trialling and implementing new imaging technologies and protocols to improve patient outcomes, experience, and departmental efficiency
  • Provide training, mentoring, and development opportunities to the imaging team, ensuring skills and knowledge are continuously enhanced
