Job Responsibility:

  • Play a key role in implementing the strategic direction for modularization
  • Ensure modularity is incorporated into the development of new Coloplast processes
  • Act as a link in Pilot Plant between modularization change initiative and running project program
  • Adapt processes for modular components
  • Support modularization initiatives within defined product lines and related manufacturing processes
  • Ensure modular design principles are fully integrated into manufacturing processes
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance modularization and manufacturing efficiency
  • Understand user needs and translate them into technical specifications and processes

Requirements:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or similar
  • Several years of experience working with complex technical R&D projects, e.g. in a specialist role
  • Solid technical expertise working as a modularization architect or modularization engineer/specialist manufacturing process engineering and modular design principles
  • Knowledge and experience of product and process development, understanding modular architecture and interface management
  • Experience with process optimization, e.g. value stream mapping, automation integration, Lean, Six Sigma
  • Knowledge of QA and EHS systems and requirements
  • Fluent in English

Nice to have:

  • Experience from working within the medical device industry
  • Understanding the regulations within the medical device industry
