Model Data Engineer Sr.

• Monitor and control all phases of development process including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation
• Provide user and operational support on applications to business users
• Collaborate in special analytics projects related to risk models
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes for data cleaning, data preparation, data ETL, and model deployment
• Design of data architecture and re-design of existing frameworks to optimize functionality
• Collaborate with modeling team in the development, implementation, and monitoring of risk models
• Prepare data for data scientists working in model development or data analysis
• Explore alternative data sources for model development
• Ensure effective interaction with other teams involved in the development and implementation of models
• Remain up-to-date with industry standards and technological advancements

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, data engineering, or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus
• Proven experience as a data engineer, software developer or similar role
• Good programming skills with expertise in SQL, SAS, Python, and scripting
• Ability to perform data analysis including writing traditional SQL queries in both Relational and NoSQL databases
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
• Lic. Informática, Actuaría, Matemáticas aplicadas, Computación o a fin
• Lenguajes de programación SAS, SQL, Python
• Experiencia en Data de 2 años en adelante
• Experiencia en riesgo de más de 5 años
